Brussels Day 2 - The Royal Palace & The Atomium

It's the 2nd day in Brussels. We just had a very delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel. The weather is all bright & sunny  and so decided to start our journey with the open tour bus again. This time we can hop in and hope off anywhere we want 
First, we stop at the Royal Palace of Belgium - The Official Residence for Royal Families Belgium. The Palace is so beautiful! The architecture design are much more superior than the Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately, there are no flag on top of the Palace's roof - meaning the King of Belgium is out of the country
The Palace's garden are so beautifully landscaped. A garden which I dream of having....  (Iva boleh imagine puteri2 dia duk menyanyi2 kat taman ni kan?  mcm cerita zaman P. Ramlee pulak  )

Next, to The Atomium!
This monument was built in 1958 and since has become the Eiffel Tower of Brussels. OK, this is the monument of Brussel, NOT Mannekin Pis  
When we 1st saw the Atomium, we thought it's just an exhibition building, but no, we can actually go inside the spheres!!  There are elevators to the upper sphere where we enjoy the panoramic view of the Brussels city - (see other small pics). There is even a good buffet-restaurant (Chez Adrienne) in the top upper sphere. Looking at its great condition, we can't believe that this monument is over 40 yrs! We guess it has been restored, as beautiful as in it's earlier years
