Since our 2nd year anniversary is just around the corner, we decided to treat ourselves for a holiday to Brussels
We arrived at Brussels Midi Train Station after a 2 1/2 hours journey from London Waterloo by Eurostar train and catch the taxi straight to our hotel - The Marriot Brussels
The hotel is located right in the heart of Brussels city, just opposite The Bourse (the stock market exchange centre of brussels)
What's very special about Brussels, it is a multilingual city of Europe where their people speak several languages. Their first language is French, the 2nd is Dutch and following with 3rd, English! 
Luckily, the hotel's receptionist speak English and she treated us very well, we even get upgraded to an executive room  not sure why but hey...who's complaining!!! The room is so spacious with big king size bed & 6 comfy pillows!  From there on, we are pretty sure this is gonna be a magnificent stay indeed 
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
After a pray & a quick rest - we explore the Grand Place which is just 5 minutes walk from our hotel. The Grand Place is the most important tourist destination in Brussels. It consists of a market square, surrounded by guild houses, the city's spectacular Town Hall and the Breadhouse
The scenery is so beautiful and exquisite as the town square of the city where the town hall rises up into the sky

This market square really amazes us. The buildings are so magnificent. It's hard to translate these square place into a picture - they are too large!! Especially us being just an amateur photographer. We just have to make do with bits & pieces 
We spent about a few hours exploring the Grand Place and the surrounding area. There's a lot of small shop selling various things from chocolate, lace to shoes. We also found a string of Halal Restaurants owned by Egyptian's and Arabian selling kebabs, durum and lots of Arab food  yea!!! looks like we've found a place to head for dinner!
